Overview
LORE helps business owners request reviews, manage referrals, connect social accounts, and create approved marketing posts from customer reviews. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to users.
Information we collect
We collect account and business profile information such as name, email address, business name, phone number, service details, branding assets, review links, customer contact records, review request history, referral records, uploaded images, and settings entered into LORE. When a business owner connects a social account such as Instagram, we receive OAuth tokens and account identifiers needed to operate that connection.
How we use information
We use information to provide the LORE service, authenticate users, send review or referral requests, display dashboards, generate review-based social content, publish content to connected accounts when directed by the user, maintain security, provide support, and improve the product.
Social account data
LORE only requests social platform permissions needed for the features a user chooses to enable. For Instagram, LORE uses connected-account information to identify the account, maintain the connection, and support user-directed publishing or related social workflows. Users can disconnect social accounts from LORE at any time.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate LORE, including hosting, database, email, SMS, payment, analytics, and social platform providers. These providers are used only as needed to deliver and maintain the service.
Data retention and deletion
We keep information while an account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Users may request deletion of account or connected social data by contacting support. Instagram data deletion callbacks are handled at /api/social/instagram/delete, and deletion request status information is available at /data-deletion-status.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including access controls and secure token storage practices. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
Users may update business information in LORE, disconnect social accounts, stop using optional integrations, or request access, correction, or deletion of their information by contacting support.
